Polluted water found to be dumped into sinkhole in Mulberry

So far, it is estimated more than 200 mn gallons of polluted water has passed from a waste containment area through a 45-foot-wide hole into the Floridan aquifer, a reservoir which is estimated to source water to millions of Floridians.

Residents living near the sinkhole in Mulberry are still waiting anxiously for results from tests for radiation and toxic chemicals in their wells, and are understandably furious that it has taken three weeks for news of the disaster to be released.
