US lawmakers may consider changes to Sept. 11 legislation

US lawmakers have reportedly considered changes to proposed Sept. 11 legislation, saying the new law permitting lawsuits against Saudi Arabia could be adjusted to lower the impact on foreign-based citizens.

Republican leaders of the Senate and House of Representatives have indicated they are open to working on a solution to ‘fix the law’, and took the opportunity to blame President Obama for not liaising with them first.
